Recovery Time Objective (RTO)
The established target time a company needs to be back up and running after the declaration of an ‘event’. Common options include 24-48 hours, 4-8 hours, 1 hour, and real-time.
Block Level Backup is a backup that looks at each individual data block as opposed to the entire stored file. Example: You’ve made minor modifications to a file or application that has already been backed up.
